How to make 3 types of Sushi

Sushi is a great traditional Japanese dish that practically everybody has heard of and more likely tasted it.  And if you are lucky, you have tasted at wonderful Sushi restaurant Temecula.

It is a great traditional meal that consists of rice, seaweed and the famous ingredient, raw fish.

Now if you don’t like fish in the first place, of course you will not like sushi.But if you are a seafood lover, then you can bet you will enjoy sushi.

Of course, most sushi is enjoyed in fine restaurants such as the one you can find at Sushi restaurant Lake Elsinore.  You can enjoy them in small fast food type of Japanese restaurants.

Or you can enjoy them in more formal dining environments, like the one found at Sushi Restaurant Hemet.

Or the best way, you can eat to your heart’s content with the all you can eat style.

But if you are in a creative mood, maybe you might try cooking it up yourself at home.

Well here is a brief rundown of the 3 types of sushi you can make.

First type is the Maki sushi.  It is the usual that you are used to that consists of fish/seafood with rice that is then wrapped in nori or seaweed.  Most famous of course is the California roll

Now the Maki sushi does contain two different types within it.  There is the “fat maki” called the Futomaki and it is called fat, because it contains 2 or more of the filllings (fish/seafood)

Then there is the Hosomaki or “thin maki” that is made with only one filling of fish or seafood.  But it could also be a single vegetable as well.

Next is the second type of sushi that is called the Nigiri sushi.  This is a popular sushi that has a thin slice of raw fish, seafood, or other types of toppings that is placed on top of a rectangular chunk of rice.  There is nothing
that wraps it up such as seaweed, like the Maki sushi.

Finally there is the Uramaki, which can also be called the inside out sushi.  It is called inside out, because it is sort of the backwards version of the Maki, in the sense that the rice is on the outside with the nori on the inside.  Also what is inside is the fish or seafood type of fare.

There you have it.3 great types of sushi you can give it a go at making it from home.

Of course, the best way to make this is to first try some at a local sushi restaurant so you can sample all 3 different styles and see how it is made and what the ingredients are.

The roulette game: origins and evolution

Roulette, believed to have been invented by French mathematician Blaise Pascal, is a popular casino game that is frequently played at both land based and online casinos all over the world. Its existence is believed to have begun sometime during the 17th century. The game consists of determining where the roulette ball is going to land on a wheel of 38 numbers. There are, however, a few different versions of roulette that players should be aware of before attempting to place a bet.

In American Roulette, the wheel is marked with the numbers 1-36, 0, and 00. The table is marked similarly, and each of the valued numbers (1-36) is marked either red or black. The numbers 0 and 00 are green. There are also three areas at the long end of each row of numbers that allow players to bet on all numbers in the row. There are also areas where players are able to place a bet on red, black, odd or even.

The majority of land based casinos have a minimum bet for their roulette tables and online casinos (computer roulette) are no exception as most tend to have the same rules for their roulette games as land based casinos. The required minimum is usually $5 at most casinos; however, there are a few that have a $10 minimum. In most cases, the minimum must be bet either inside the table or outside the table. Outside is considered to be the green area that surrounds the numbered (inside) area. A variety of bets can be made both inside and outside the table, up to the table maximum and there are a variety of “beat roulette” strategies, some that have validity, others that don’t.

The wheel is spun and the roulette ball is spun into it in the opposite direction. Bets must be placed prior to the dealer or the computer in online casinos, stating “no more bets” and waving a hand across the table to visually alert the players. This means that the ball is slowing. When the ball finally starts to drop into the slots on the wheel, it will likely skip a few times before finally settling into one specific numbered slot.

If the bet that you placed included the number that the ball settled in, you win. How much you win is ultimately decided by two things: the amount of your winning bet and where you placed your winning bet on the table. The Days in the Chinese New Year

The Chinese New Year is the most important Chinese celebrations and begins on the first day of the first lunar month and proceeds for fifteen days. The Chinese New Year is not only restricted to China but is celebrated throughout Asia. The Twelve-year animal zodiac and ten year heavenly stems Cycles also coincide with the Chinese New Year.

The first Chinese New Year was a celebration due to the banishment of a horrid beast, Nian (translation - Year). Nian would arrive at villages on the first day of the New Year and eat all off the food and people, especially children, as it could. Villagers would leave out food hoping to make it full before it could eat anyone. It was soon discovered that red frightened Nian and red lanterns would be hung out. Soon Nian was scared off for good. This myth is considered the reason for the Chinese New Year celebrations. Traditionally the Chinese New Year uses red lanterns and firecrackers to celebrate.

There is a huge amount of travel that occurs during this time as the Chinese New Year is a time to visit all of your relatives. Homes are extensively cleaned to sweep away last years bad luck and welcome in the New Years good luck. Many other actions such as getting a new haircut are a celebration of the new start.

The first day of the New Year is when families visit the most senior members of their family as well as pray to the deities of heaven and earth. No cooking is done as the use of knives and fire can bring in bad luck. On the second day and married daughters will visit her birth parents. Traditionally she was not able to visit them much so this ensured some time with her parents.

The third and fourth days of the New Year are not traveling says as it is thought that individuals will argue more easily as well as being respectful to the dead particularly or any family that may have died within the past three years. The fifth day dumplings are traditionally eaten, as this say is the birthday of the Chinese god of wealth.

On the seventh day everyone turns one year older as this is the common mans birthday. On this day friends congregate and feast on colorful raw fish salads. The Jade emperor of Heaven’s birthday is on the ninth day. Offerings of sugarcane are made to the Jade emperor and honored guests will drink tea. On the last day of the New Year lanterns and candles are lit to guide back wayward spirits.

A Stand Alone Swedish Invention Can Slow Down Swine Influenza Spread

In light of the recent swine flu outbreaks in many parts of the world, the World Health Organization has raised the swine flu warning to Level 5. With this warning, governments around the world must put their pandemic plans into action in order to stop the spread of the swine flu virus. A pandemic is an outbreak of a disease that occurs over a wide geographic area, affecting an alarmingly large proportion of the population.

In Sweden, a new invention by The Swedish AAA-rated company Gert Strand AB may be the cure for swine flu. Called SMITTSTOPP, this Swedish invention is touted to stop diseases, bacteria and virus from spreading. A spray-on product that comes in a 500-ml (16.9 oz.) bottle, SMITTSTOPP is a cationic polymer, a positively charged substance that attaches to all surfaces. Viruses, bacteria and other microorganisms all have a negative charge. SMITTSTOPP works by attracting these negatively charged microorganisms, stopping their growth and effectively killing them.

The swine influenza virus, according to the Infectious Disease Institute, is spread through the air (e.g., coughing or sneezing). Once air-borne, the virus can land on any surface, contaminating it. When the contaminated surface is touched, the virus is then transferred to the hands and fingers. It enters through the eyes, nose or mouth when the person touches his face with his contaminated hands.

Masks are ineffective in keeping bacteria and viruses like the swine flu virus from getting into the respiratory tract. This is where SMITTSTOPP becomes the first line of defense. By spraying it on surfaces and allowing it to dry, SMITTSTOPP creates an invisible layer of durable, non-toxic, food grade polymer, which works to significantly heighten infection protection. This polymer layer attracts negatively charged microorganisms such as viruses and bacteria and kills them, effectively stopping them from spreading.

SMITTSTOPP is recommended for use in clinics, hospitals, restaurants, public areas, schools, shops, cabs, buses and homes. SMITTSTOPP should be sprayed on surfaces that are most likely to harbor contaminants like the swine flu virus, staphylococci and salmonella. It works to stop the spread of viruses, bacteria and other microorganisms when sprayed on surfaces such as handles, taps, switches, toilet flush, toilet seats, counters, equipment, and even keyboards, mouse and cell phones.

What Is The Draw of Ozonation?

A very interesting caller spoke to me about her need for a home ozone generator. She mentioned to me that her career field was nursing and that her husband’s gangrene was something that the hospital was unable to effectively treat.

She told said that she was using red clay on the wound and that she wanted an home ozone generator because she believed the ozonator water would help to clean the flesh and kill bacteria.

Ozone is known to kill bacteria and viruses. Some view it as the way that nature purifies the natural environment.After a rainstorm, you can often smell a nice fresh quality to the air, that is from the action of ozone.

People use ozone for all kinds of purposes. Some want to use ozone generated with a home ozonator to  ozonate oils. It may because many people believe that ozonated oils can help to heal wounds.

Many people have other purposes for ozone. Some like to use ozone to cleanse the air. Some believe that higher concentrations of ozone in the air, may actually be bad for our health.  Others take no heed.As in other areas of life, there are always those who take a stance on one side or the other.

Has the FDA done any studies on home ozonators?None that I have heard of.It does seem that science backs the notion that ozone kills bacteria and viruses. I have also read or heard somewhere that industry actually uses ozone to clean equipment surfaces.

I visited a dental professional not too long ago who told me that in Europe, some doctors are using ozone to clean tooth chambers before doing a root canal or installing a filling.  This is very interesting because typically Europe is better at spotting things like that.This could be partly due to the more commercial economy of the United States, but lets not get sidetracked.

Past and Future For Our Society: Reflections…

We have come a long way, haven’t we?After pausing to think about the differences between modern and ancient times, it is really boggling to the mind, isn’t it? 

The modern conveniences that are available to the masses today are incredible. If you go back a short eighty years ago, very few people had cars.  Today, almost everyone has a car. 

And think about the folks with mobility problems: Powerful stairlifts did not exist 100 years ago.  Yet today. They have mobility devices for both the home and for vans. 

Today’s technology makes it possible for some folks to live a life that would not have been available to them 100 years ago.That is the good part.

Yet, there are still problems to conquer. Gum disease is a problem which is characterized in the beginning by the need to stop bleeding gums. It’s strange to think that we still can not beat simple gingivitis after thousands of years of being plagued by it. 

Modern medicine may have slipped a bit on that one.  But teeth whitening reviews abound on the Internet today. This is because at-home teeth whitening has become quite popular.This is something that wasn’t available one-hundred years ago - at least not to the common person.

One tip about that: Please do NOT ever try to lighten your teeth with lemon juice - That is an urban legend that should be completely ignored.That lemon juice is very acidic and can really harm your tooth enamel, please don’t use it on your teeth. 

Medically speaking, it is getting better and better. Cardiac surgery technology has advanced far. Howver, it makes me feel a bit sad.We should turn our attention to the area that really needs improvement: Prevention.  

At the same time, we really should develop our ability to work with nature instead of against. Are there natural substances that can clean our arteries and help us avoid heart surgery in the first place? 

Despite that, I’m optimistic.  Now, I’m left wondering what will be available to the average person in the next fifty years.  I’m looking forward to finding out.

Attached is a video made for Real Subliminal with various subliminal adverts on it - it exposes everytihng from Bread adverts, to Dodge Trucks, to Jewelery and Alcoholic drinks companies and even Coca Cola.

Subliminal adverts have been used by a very wide range of advertisers in every industry possible. The reasons they use them vary but there can be a lot to gain from using these subliminal techniques:

  • Increased memory of the advert.
  • Increase memory of the brand generally.
  • Maybe result in the advert going viral.
  • Grab your attention and make sure you really focus on the advert.
  • An increase in sales.

These suggestions build up after a while especially if used across the board in the companies promotional efforts.

A simple subliminal link to sex, or a naked figure is more than enough to register in your mind. It is just enough to make the advert memorable, and to help it stick out in your mind. It may even cause controversy: Any publicity is good publicity. It will be spoken about around the “water cooler” perhaps having other people make remakes and spoofs of the advert. This gives benefit to the product, the brand name, and the company.

coca cola subliminal messages are perhaps the biggest example. They are always gathering press for using sexual suggestions in their advertiesments, and even in their packaging - bottles and cans. They use hidden pictures of the female form in their design. Typically they can be seen as an outline in the ice and icecubes, and in the wavy curvy lines which make up the Coca Cola logo. They have also been known to include lips, happy / thursty faces and more in the backgrounds.

All of these messages are meant to add to Coca Cola as a sexy, young brand name - just as their overt branding and advertising tries to do. It all ties in, and it works, Coca Cola are one of the widest recognised brands across the world. At one point a few years ago the term “Coca Cola” was the second best known word across the world! The word in first place? OK!!

Subliminal adverts are everywhere - some are totally obvious, but some are very subtle. if you open your eyes and look at things differently you will notice more and more subtle subliminal suggestions in your everyday life.

Window Cleaning Like a Professional

On the surface, window cleaning seems like a pretty easy job.  Ask any teenager to wash your windows, even for pay, and they will jump at the opportunity. The challenge however, is after they do it once, they will be telling you that they will never do that again. The problem with window washing is not the work you have to do, it’s how you are going to do it, when you are going to do it, and what tools you will use.  Take it from my years as a San Diego Window cleaning company, if you want someone to enjoy cleaning your windows, or if you want to do it yourself, keep some of these tips below in mind.

If you wash your windows when the sun is directly on them, you will soon realize that this makes ugly streaks that don’t seem to go away no matter how many times you clean them! It is frustrating, but knowing something as simple as when to wash them like when the sun passes by and is not shining on the window, or when it is so hot, can you save you a lot of time and frustration.

Some San Diego window washing tips that take the frustration and hassle out of window cleaning are:

The method you hold you’re squeegee counts!

Now when you are holding the squeegee, be sure that the angle is correct and it is in the directino of the water flow. If the water is flowing down towards your feet, pull the squeegee either sideways allowing the water being squeegeed to flow down to the part you haven’t hit yet. For example, if you are on the roof and the down angle is above you, squeegee forward so you can cause the water to flow to the part not yet squeegeed. If you find yourself working against the flow of water, this will cause the water to build up and it will flow out of the sides and that will make streaks.

The wiping of the blade is important!

Some people will be tempted to squeegee the entire window without even considering to wipe the blade until the end. This won’t work very well and can make ugly streaks just from the water left on the blade. Every time you go to get that (which is twice in the same spot essentially) you cause another streak.You can avoid this problem by just wiping the blade after each strokeand have the windows washed much faster without wasted steps that you have to go back on.

Make the streaks overlap

After each stroke you should overlap the top of the next stroke (about an inch into the dry area) and make your next stroke. If you’re pointing the squeegee so the water buildup falls downward towards the wet part of the window and you’re drying off the blade after each stroke, you will not create
an additional window streak that will need to be done over. Don’t be tempted to just squeegee right on the line, this will make splashes right into the dry area and will be very unproductive.

Use a lot of water

If you don’t use plenty of water, you will cause yourself a hard time by making the strokes more dificult rather than smooth strokes with the squeegee. don’t be afraid to use a lot of water and when possible be sure to use sideway strokes where the water is flowing down towards the part of the glass that is wet.

The wedding day will probably be one of the most important times that occur for a person’s life. Many hours goes into a lot of the planning for the wedding. Probably all of the list of things to do in wedding planning are frustrating, stressful, and time consuming. That is why it is so important to do some homework and find the right people for all of the jobs.One of the very big jobs will be that of the photographer. From my experience as a San Diego wedding photographer I’ll show you it can be a few simple steps away.

Trying to find a wedding photographer is huge responsibility and job. There are several factors to consider when making this important selection. The photographs that you get from your wedding day will be some of the most memorable moments that you. The photos will be on your walls for the rest of yourlife. One very obvious factor in deciding which photographer to choose is price. Most photographers do charge a price for a specific amount of time for the wedding. It is important to know what will be included with that price up front
price. When it comes to finding a wedding photographer, the biggest upside to pricing is there is a lot of competition. Remember, that a lot of photographers can and will negotiate their price a little bit to fit what you need.

Another factor to consider when choosing is how much experience a person has. Is this their first wedding or their hundredth? Their price might be a reflection of just how long and how many years of experience they have in business. Now just because someone may have a lot of experience doesn’t guarantee they will be better. Sometimes the photographers that are just starting their careers and are trying to build a name will turn out to be excellent. The advantage of a person like that and going with them is you know they are going to give it their best. When looking for a wedding photographer, you will find people with varying levels of experience. Doing an interview with a photographer can give you a good sense of what they will be like to work with.

A final thing for you to take into account when trying to decide is the personality the photographer has. Are they going to call all the shots and make all of the poses? Or are they going to let the bride and groom make some decisions? Another thing to think about is whether or not you want to be the one to make the important decisions on the photos. The bride and grooom will have enough worries the day of the wedding. Take all of these factors into consideration when you choose your photographer.
